STOLTZ, ALENE, 96, passed away Friday, October 16, 2009. She was a retired employee of Brown Foreman, a lifetime member of the Women's Democrat Club of Jefferson County, a senior citizen bowler, and a Kentucky Colonel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Joseph Stoltz. Survivors include her sisters, Edna Weaver and Catherine Owen; her nephew, David Hicks (Pam); a stepson, Jerry Stoltz; and many other nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2 8 p.m. Monday and after noon Tuesday.
