Age 59, son of the late Walter W. and Mary Rushton Straub. [stepmother: Ruth Sawtell Straub] Art lived in the Erie area all of his life He was employed by GE Transportation Division in Erie for over 35 years, before retiring in 2014. Art was a 1974 graduate of East High School, and then enrolled in the GE apprentice program. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Art was a member of many social clubs. Survivors include one daughter, Lindsay George and her husband Micah of Mohrsville, Pa.; one son, Arthur C. Straub of Erie; two brothers, Walter Straub and his wife Patricia of Georgia and Charles Straub and his wife Patty of North East; one sister, Barbara Szustak and her husband Mattheew of Erie; and his companion, Rae DallaTorre. His is also survived by a grandson. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
