Bernadine Allen Adams, 64, of Horse Branch, died Friday, June 20, 2003, at her home. The Ohio County native retired from Young’s Manufacturing in Beaver Dam and was a member of Sugar Grove Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening and working in her yard. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Himes, in 1975; her second husband, Henry Adams in 1996; her father, Effron Allen, in 1977; a brother, Lannie Allen in 1990; and a sister, Stella Dockery, in 1985. Survivors include a brother, James Larue Allen of Hutchinson, Kansas; two sisters, Dortha Renfrow and Debbie Beatty, both of Horse Branch; her mother, Marjorie Allen of Horse Branch; and several nieces and nephews
