Funeral services for Mr. Carmon B Hammock, age 70, will be conducted at 11 a.m., Monday, February 28, 2011 from the Holly Springs Church of Christ in Hilham with Bro. Marlon Winningham, & Bro. Mark Loftis officiating. Burial will be in the Holly Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, at the Funeral Home from 5 until 9 p.m., & on Sunday from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. The body will lie-in-state at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until time for services at 11 a.m. Mr. Hammock died February 25, 2011 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. He was born October 25, 1940 in Overton County Tennessee, to the late Jeff & Myrtle Gore Hammock. He was a member of the James T. Davis Memorial Post 5062 of Livingston, a member of the Hilham Vol. Fire Department, a memeber of the Holly Springs Church of Christ. He was Retired from the Army, and the National Guard, and Berkline. He is survived by his wife, Billie Ann Greenwood Hammock of Liv.; son, Jeff & wife Lori Hammock of Rickman; daughters, Missey & husband Chris Winningham of Hilham; Melanie & husband Donald Staggs of Liv.; brother, Carlon C. & wife Mildred Hammock of Liv.; sisters, Carlene & husband Junior Poston of Liv.; Dean & husband Mickey Hagen of Rickman; Johnnie Walker of Highland Mtn.; father-in-law, Jess Greenwood; siter-in-law, Thelma & husband Billy Burchett of Allons; Grandchildren, Kylor Winningham & fiancee Kanessa Jacobs, Dillon Winningham, Keleigh, Cade, Cole, & Chloe Hammock; Heather & husband Josh Gentry, Donnie & Casey Staggs, Travis Staggs & girlfriend Kristen Webb; Great Grandchildren, Brianna, McKinzie, & Gracy Gentry, Hayden & Trey Staggs. Also expecting in July Great Granddaughter Brandi B. Staggs. He was preceded in death by Parents,; sister, Anna Moore; brothers, Carl Donald Hammock, & Carlos Hammock Pallbears for Mr. Hammock are: Kylor & Dillon Winningham, Travis & Donnie Staggs, Josh Gentry, Cade & Cole Hammock, & Donnie Bull.
