Carvel Warden was the oldest son of Horace and Avo (Ogletree) Warden. He married Martha B. Davis on 09 Aug 1946 and they had two sons, Kelly Gene and Robert Gary Warden. He served in the US Army in WWII. Carvel H. Warden Funeral services for Mr. Carvel H. Warden, 86, of Huber Heights, OH, formerly of Overton County, were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2007, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Gore officiating. Burial was in Holly Springs Cemetery. Mr. Warden died Saturday, June 30 at his home. He was retired from Delco General Motors, was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in World War II, and a member of the Church of Christ. Born April 8, 1921, in Overton county, he was the son of the late Horace and Avo (Ogletree) Warden. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sons, Robert Warden and Kelly Gene Warden; a brother, Thomas Warden; and 2 sisters, Leron Leffer and Imogene Smith.
