CORYDON DEMOCRAT OBITUARY - 04/02/1924 Mrs. Catharine Jacobi died last Friday, March 28, at the home of her son, William Jacobi, of Morgan Township. Her death followed an attack of lobar pneumonia after ten days illness. The deceased was eighty years old and is survived by four children, William and Philip Jacobi, Mrs. John Gettelfinger, and Mrs. Frank Gettelfinger. A daughter, Mrs. Hilary Kiesler died a year ago. Mrs. J. was the widow of the late Philip Jacobi. She leaves twenty-five grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren. She was a devout member of the Catholic church and funeral services were conducted by Father Gorman at the Bradford Catholic church, Monday morning.
