Charles Luther Wingo, Sr., age 85, passed away May 14, 2015. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather putting God first in his life. Mr. Wingo was a longtime member of Hartsville Pike Church of Christ, Gallatin, TN and enjoyed a 54 year career as a Master Barber. His love for his family and farm will long be remember by those who knew and loved him. Mr. Wingo is preceded in death by his parents, Link and Willie Roberts Wingo; brother, Alvin Wingo, and sister, Tommie Bausell. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Juanita Maxey Wingo; children, Peggy Jones Wingo Hudson (Richard), Willie Chaffin (Max), Charles L. “Luke” Wingo , Jr. (Angie), Rebecca Boehm (Joe), Teresa Strahle (Ron); 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends at Crestview Funeral Home 1620 Hwy. 109 N. Gallatin, TN, Tuesday, May 19, 2015, 2 - 8 p.m. and Wednesday, May 20th from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Crestview Memory Gardens. (615) 452-1943
