Chester served in the US Army during WW II as a SGT. Enlisted on July 19, 1943. SSN: 072-16-3964 Killed during a robbery at home business. Circumstances unknown. He owned a mini market in Glenmoor that was adjoined to his house. (photo at the left) His wife was working at the store when through an intercom system he had installed, he heard her being robbed around 5:45 pm. He ran over to help his wife and there were 2 men in masks with a 16 gauge shotgun. When he tried to protect her, they shot him in the chest killing him. His wife then picked up a ball bat and chased them away to their car where there were 3 more men waiting in the car. The vehicle was a 68/69 blue chevy sedan.
