Their family consited of sons; Timmy and Roger Warden and daughters; Linda Cash and Diane Herron. Claude J. Warden Funeral services for Mr. Claude J. Warden, 75, of Cookeville, were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2001, from the chapel of Anderson Funeral Home in Gainesboro with Bro. Don Chaffin officiating. Burial was in the Holly Springs Cemetery with Anderson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Warden died Monday, January 29, 2001, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was a retired farmer and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Born June 5, 1925, in Tennessee, he was the son of the late John Eddie and Addie Mable (Thompson) Warden. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Estella (Goolsby) Warden.
