Burial was in Tinsley Cemetery in Clay County with Rev. Damon Corley officiating. Mr. Gore died Monday, December 6 at St. Thomas Hospital. He worked for Tennessee Department of Transportation and was a member of Allons Baptist Church. Born July 19, 1945, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Charles T. and Sibyl (Howard) Gore. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Gore of Madison; two brothers, Donald Charles Gore of Hilham and Tommy Gore and his wife, Patricia, of Rickman; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Brenda Gilpatrick and Michael and Lisa McClain, all of Celina; uncle and aunts, Carey and Edna Gore of Livingston and Christine Ledbetter of Cookeville; three nephews, Mark Gore, David Gore, and Brandon Gilpatrick; and two nieces, Rebecca Gore and Selissa Gore. Pallbearers were Jerry Gilpatrick, Brandon Gilpatrick, Larry Irwin, David Gore, Mark Gore, Fred Corley, Bill Estep, and Louis Hayes.
