Donald Dee Field, 63, of Delphi, died at 5 p.m. May 29, 2001, at Brethren Healthcare Center, Flora. Born Nov. 22, 1937, in Peru, he was the son of Leonard and Gail Naomi Field. He attended Kankakee, Ill., schools. Mr. Held retired from Rotker Construction after 20 years there. Surviving are one son, Leslie Field of Newberlin, Wis.; two daughters, April Field of Arizona and Kimberly Gipson of Newberlin; two sisters, Barb Moore and Eva Dawson, both of Dawogiac, Mich; a brother, Ronald Field of Riverside, Calif.; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services were Friday at Masonic Cemetery, Delphi, with Rev. Ellis Gasser officiating. Davidson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
