Knoxville News-Sentinel, The (TN) - Monday, January 11, 1999 HENDERSON, DONALD T. - age 73, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, January 10, 1999, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. Mr. Henderson was a veteran of World War II, a member of Bibleway Baptist Church and retired from ORNL, X-10 in Oak Ridge. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Arthur E. and Hallie Jones Henderson; brothers, George, Dennis and Doyle Henderson; and sister, Ruth H. Morris. He is survived by his loving family: wife, Regina Byrd Henderson; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Sharon Henderson; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna Griggs, Diane and Rodger Lowe, Kim and Steve Tindell, Timber and Rob Shelton; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Willie Hays, Mary Naugher, Delia Asbury, Wilma Powell; brothers, Edward Henderson, Tollie Henderson, also his best friend, and Bobby Henderson; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Henderson is at Highland Memorial Funeral Home, 5315 Kingston Pike, where services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday with Rev. Billy Bell officiating. Interment to follow in Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 6-8 p.m., at Highland Memorial Funeral Home, 588-0567.
