Duane I. Cox, 57, of Anderson, passed away Sept. 7, 2016, at his residence in Anderson. He was born on Aug. 15, 1959, in New Castle, Indiana. He formerly worked at Wal-Mart in Robinson, Illinois, in the hardware and automotive departments. Duane is survived by his mother, Wilburta (Parrish) Cox of Anderson; son, Donald Cox (companion Jamie Tomlinson) of Anderson; daughter, Mandi Cox of Anderson; brother, Michael (Crystal) Cox of Anderson; sister, Donelle Clensy of Middletown; niece, Terri Clensy; and nephew, Mikhael Cox. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald E Cox; wife, Terri Cox; paternal-grandparents, Levi and Viola Cox; and maternal grandparents, Wilbert and Dessa Parrish. No services will be conducted, and cremation will take place.
