Mrs. Troutman was born Nov. 3, 1922, in San Diego, Calif. to the late Charlie F. Troutman and Neva Ellis Troutman. She was a member of Mt. Mitchell United Methodist Church. Her husband Harry M. Troutman preceded her in death on May 5, 1945. Survivors include two daughters, Joan T. Rodgers of Mooresville and Erlene T. Himes of Campbellsville, Ky.; three sisters Elaine Wensil and Evelyn Wensil, both of Kannapolis and Esther Patterson of China Grove; two brothers Charles Troutman of Kannapolis and George Troutman of Fayetteville; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
