Daughter of Isaac Snodgrass and Susan Meyers. Married George Edward Thayer on Oct 16, 1889 in Spokane county. Married John Edward Lane on Dec. 31, 1905 in Spokane. Spokane Daily Chronicle - Jan 2, 1945 Mr. & Mrs. J. E. Lane, W2208 Broadway, are pioneer residents who came to Spokane more than 60 years ago. Sunday they observed their 39th wedding anniversary and yesterday celebrated with a New Year's family dinner at the home. Mr. Lane farmed in the Palouse country for some time and was justice of the peace at Rockford. Mrs. Lane came to Waverly in 1884. Members of the family include two daughters Mrs. Ruby Lane Colman of Spokane and Mrs. Florence McVay, Oakland, California; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
