She was born February 14, 1927 in Burbank to the late Jesse Vayne and Ella (Peters) Hooser and lived in Rittman all of her adult life where she raised her family. Her early school years were in Fort Gay, WV where she made lifelong friends. She was baptized in the Baptist church at the forks of Little Hurricane, WV. She graduated from Doylestown High School in the class of 1944. Evangeline was employed by the former A.P. Grocery Store in Wadsworth for 20 years and enjoyed baking, sewing and quilting. Surviving is daughter & son; grandchildren; great nieces and nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles E. Sigler; son, Gerald M. Sigler; and brothers, Michael G. and Kenneth Y. Hooser. Services will be held Friday, June 17, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman, OH. Burial will follow at Rittman Cemetery.
