Garry Lee Ritchey, 70, of Allen, MI passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at his home. He was born March 2, 1946 in Celina, Tennessee to George and Grace (McClain) Ritchey. Later at the age of ten Garry was raised by his Aunt and Uncle Don and Irene Simon. Garry married Nancy (Shelt) on December 10, 1967 and she survives. Garry graduated from North Baltimore High School in Ohio. He then went on to serve his country in the United Stated Air Force for 16 years. During his timed served Garry received an Associate Degree in Business management. Garry was also a lifelong member of theVFW and was the Commander at the Quincy American Legion. In addition to his wife, Nancy, Garry is survived by his daughter Tracy (Michael) Wilks of Allen; Two sons, Keith Ritchey of Allen and James (Brandy) Ritchey of Lebanon, TN; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is also survived by three sisters, Nora "Maggie" (Jay) Barboza of Lafayette, Tennessee, Terri (Kim) Mohr of Sycamore, Ohio and Susan (Randy) Aikens of Harrisburg, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents and uncle Don Simon. Funeral Services for Garry Ritchey will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy with Rev. Alan Fenstermaker officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Quincy American Legion.
