(Research):Cat == I found my notes taken at the Avigliano Town Hall with the clerk, Tella, who told me that Giuseppe was not married to Ann Marie DeCarlo, and that he took his 2 daughters to the U.S. She said that he had a son named Pietro Paolo Zaccagnino with his first wife. The clerk believes that he (Pietro Paolo) eventually moved from Avigliano (?) to somewhere near Matera, perhaps a village by the name of Calciano (my phonetic spelling) or perhaps to Puglia (which is a region or province, not a town, I think). She thinks that he might have worked for the railroad. She also believed that the Donato Summa, who lives in Lagopesole (descendant of Anna Marie Zaccagnino, sister of Giuseppe, Donato and Santolo) who married Tommaso Summa and lived in Lagopesole. After their children were born, Tommaso sent to the U.S. to find work and he was "murdered" while there. No one seemed to know anything more about the circumstances of his death, but one of his sons supposedly went to the U.S. to "avenge" his death. I have nothing else in my notes but this. Still need to work on scanning the various records. I see that the one I sent you is cut off on one side. Will re-do eventually. Donna
