John Stanley Ledbetter Funeral services for Mr. John Stanley Ledbetter, 83, of Indianapolis, IN, and formerly of Overton County, were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2002, from the chapel of Harry Moore Funeral Home in Indianapolis with Rev. Carman Jones officiating. Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Fishers, IN, with Harry Moore Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Ledbetter died Thursday, Feb. 28 at Miller Merry Manor Nursing Home in Indianapolis. He was a farmer. Born September 22, 1918, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Overton and Mary Jane (Andrews) Ledbetter. Survivors include his wife, Lillie Ledbetter, Indianapolis; three daughters, Lavenia Ledbetter, Livingston, Shirley Burgess, Lawrenceburg, IN, and Mary Burns, Indianapolis; and a son, Garry Ledbetter, Indianapolis; a stepson, Lewis Shackleford, Indianapolis; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Anthony McClintock, Billy McLearran, Brad Hager, Robbie Shackle-ford, Michael Burgess, and Michael Lunczynski
