Lottie (Culver) Kurneta, 97, of Fowler Ave., Middletown, wife of the late Stanley Kurneta, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Middlesex Hospital. She was born in Middletown June 4, 1917, the daughter of the late Ernest and Mary (Morse) Culver. Prior to her retirement, she was an inspector at Rayco. She was a lifelong parishioner of Saint Francis of Assisi Church. Lottie is survived by her son Anthony Kurneta of Boston, MA, and her sister Katherine Scalia and her husband, Francis of Middletown; also nieces, nephews and many friends. She was predeceased several brothers and sisters. The Funeral Liturgy will be held Thursday (May 28th) at 1 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Elm St., Middletown. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
