(Research):Hi Catherine, (Catherine Priest - Smith family) hmm, I thought that I had made the whole tree public and didn't hide the living relatives. give me a minute to check on this. Okay, I just now found the unhide living people section, allowing only you to view. try it again. I have been "doing" genealogy for over 10 years now, and only a few times has a mystery/extended branch of the family popped up with the ease that this did. I always hope that it will, but as you know, it isn't always so simple. I think that we had a bit of luck, being that they come from a smaller town and have unique names. I've had a nightmare of unearthing connections to the russian/jewish relatives of MY parents, being that the languages and alphabet (cyrillic) are out of my grasp. PS- I am fluent in Spanish, can understand Portuguese, Italian and some Croatian if that should ever be of any help to you. Michelangelo (known by my Argentine mother-in-law as Miguel Angel) was my husband's great grand father on his mother's side- his mother's grandfather. She definatively gave us michelangelo and his wife Rosa Maria Labella with dates and location, that matched with yours. where does your documentation come from? FYI, my husband is Sergio Martinez and my mother in-law is Maria Rosa Mancusi (married to Oscar Ruben martinez) side, question- am I missing something or was I just overwhelmed by discovery...I couldn't find the US zaccagninos? We'll are heading to Argentina in december for the holidays and we'll be digging though my inlaw's old and dusty papers and photos.My mother in law is 85, sharp as a tack and totally into documenting any info we find and also, we'll be talking to her remaining nieces and nephew to see what they can unearth.
