MILLER, LUCILLE - age 87, of Knoxville, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2013 at Life Care Center in Jefferson City. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Miller; son, Ray Miller Jr.; grandson, Jason Bowling; father, Henry Dunkle; mother, Lucy Dunkle Adams; step-father, Fred Adams; brother, Henry Dunkle; and sister Pauline DeMarcus. She is survived by her children, Gene (Bernadine) Miller of Kansas City, MO, Faye (Charles) Murphy of Sedalia MO, Lucille (Bill) Barnes of Finville, MI, Betty Davis of Talbott, Carl Miller of Knoxville, Debbie (David) Harvey of Talbott, Jane (Morgan) Pettus of Dandridge, and George (Cecelia) Miller of Talbott; brother, Dan Dunkle of Knoxville; sister, Francis Waller of Knoxville; also twenty grandchildren and several great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Dr. David McNabney and the staff of Jefferson Family Physicians and the staff of Life Care of Jefferson City for the care they provided for our mom. Funeral services will be 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Boling officiating, Graveside services will be 11:00 am on Friday, August 23, 2013 at Sunderland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 pm Thursday prior to the services at the chapel. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
