She was born in Lewis County, Kentucky on December 19, 1935. Mrs. Jolley resided in Lorain County most of her life and lived in Elyria before residing in North Ridgeville. She was a graduate of Elyria High School. She was a homemaker and also worked as a cashier at the former Kroger Grocery Store in Elyria. She was a member of the Elyria Junior Women’s Club and the North Ridgeville Grange and she was a former Girl Scout Leader. Mrs. Jolley enjoyed knitting, cross stitching, sewing, ceramics, working in her yard and flower gardening. Mrs. Jolley is survived by one son, Robert M. Ternes (Susan) of Eaton Township; one daughter, Yvonne M. Ternes (Don Urig) of North Ridgeville; uncle, Leland Roe of Illinois; and by three granddaughters, Katherine C., Elizabeth M. and Victoria A. Ternes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Jolley in 1996; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Roe (who raised her); paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Parm Abrams; sister, Barbara Dobbins; one niece; one nephew; her mother, Mary C. Stinson; and her father, Eugene Abrams. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 5, 2014 from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Liston Funeral Home, North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be Monday, October 6, 2014 at 10 A.M., in the funeral home. Reverend Chuck Behrens, Chaplain with Hospice of the Western Reserve, will officiate.
