The Elwood Call-Leader, p. 2, Thursday, November 30, 2006 Paul H. Kilgore, 73, of Elwood, died Nov. 29, 2006, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born June 23, 1933, in Monterey, Tenn., the son of Daniel and Laura (Goff) Kilgore. He retired from State Plating in Elwood after several years employment. He married Elizabeth McClain May 1, 1954. Survivors include a daughter, Jane (Kilgore) Cleveland of Bloomington; three sons, Randy Kilgore of Elwood, Roger Kilgore of Nebraska and Dennis Kilgore of Elwood; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; three sisters, Bea Copeland of Monterey, Tenn., Nellie Walker of Crossville, Tenn. and Bessie Phillips of Crossville, Tenn.; and a brother, Jim Kilgore of Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Sam and Arthur Kilgore; and five sisters, Dorothy Buckner, Ethel Bohannon, Danette Bennett, Anna Ruth Beard and Mary Phillips. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, at the Elwood City Cemetery, with the Rev. Jack Bess officiating. There will be no visitation Dunnichay Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
