The 1900 US Census shows Peter as immigrant from Poland-Germany like his parents. Also the immigration records from the ship show his mother and Peter, age 4, arriving in 1891 from Prussia. Also a note from his daughter Beatrice indicates that he was from Germany. I suspect that all records indcating that he was born in Pennsylvania are incorrect and that he may have assumed he was born in Pennsylvania because all of his siblings were born there.
