"Grandma Shirley" Ferndale, Washington resident, Shirley Fredrickson, passed away on August 17, 2011. Shirley was born in Seattle, WA, on November 21, 1944, and was a loving and giving woman who worked hard, serving as a cook for most of her life. She enjoyed the simple things in life and loved to see the joy through the lives of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Shirley will be greatly missed by her children: Larry (Chris) Walton and Terri Walton; sisters: Sally (Mitchell) Beckmann, Susie Ferguson, Barb Collins, and Mary Geyer; grandchildren: Levi, Journey, Tyler, and Kayla Walton, and Robin (Tom) Byrne and Steve Fredrickson; Dennis Walton; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Austin Walton, Breanna, Ben, Kelli, and Tommy Byrne; and many other caring friends and family. We give special thanks to sister-in-law, Beverly (Leonard) Sund. A Graveside Ceremony will be held on Monday August 22, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Enterprise Cemetery, 7041 Vista Drive, Ferndale.
