CORYDON DEMOCRAT OBITUARY - 12/21/2011 Jeanette Uhl, 85, Floyds Knobs, died Friday, December 16, 2011, at Floyd Memorial Hospital & Health Services in New Albany. Born November 1, 1926, in Palmyra, she was the daughter of the late Condon & Lois Boaz. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Bradford and Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard C. Uhl. Survivors include a son, C. Todd Uhl of Corydon; four daughters, Jan Monroe of New Salisbury, Rosanne Shireman and Beth Posante, both of Palmyra, and Kim Freshour of Greenville; a brother, Joe Boaz of Palmyra; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation: Monday, December 19, from 2-8 p.m. at Kraft Funeral Service in New Albany. Rosary: Monday, December 19, at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Mass: Tuesday, December 20, at 10 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church in Bradford with burial in the church cemetery.
