Stanley was born on July 27th, 1929 in Greencastle, Indiana to his late parents Glenn and Mabel Hanlon. Stanley served honorably in the United States Army as a deep sea diver during the Korean War. Stanley was well known for his music. He was often called a local legend and was loved and highly respected by many musicians in Ellijay as well as Indiana. Stanley is preceded in death by his wife, Alma Jean Hanlon, son, Terry Glenn Hanlon, and grandson, Ryan Lloyd Hanlon. ∼ Mr. Stanley Dean Hanlon, age 92 of Ellijay, GA passed away on Sunday March 27th, 2022. A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 15, 2022, at 2:00 pm with the North GA Honor Guard officiating.
