Vivian Acuff McClain, age 81, of South Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018. She was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church, an avid bowler, and retired from Vol Market #3 after 25 years. Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, Bob McClain; parents, Ault and Lucy Acuff; sister, Mildred Byrd; and brother, Clifford Acuff. She is survived by sons, Mike (Karen) McClain and Scott (Rhonda) McClain; grandchildren, Lauren (Michael) Jordan, Lance (Krystle) McClain, Channing (Matt) Schlosshan and Blair McClain; great-grandchildren, McClain Elyse and Maddox Rhea Jordan; sisters, Mary Davis, Wilma Lawrence and Charlotte Frye. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Williamsburg Villas for their care of Vivian for the past 18 months. Special thanks also to Charlotte, Wilma, and Mary for helping watch over her. Family will receive friends Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway with the memorial service to follow at 7:00 pm, Rev.
