ST. JOSEPH HILL -- Wilfred "Snick" Sprigler, 74, of St. Joe Road West, died Wednesday at Clark County Hospital. He was a retired shipping clerk for Louisville Cement Co. He was a charter member of Providence Football and Track Booster Club. Survivors include his wife, the former Dorothy Libs; two daughters, Suzann Hollkamp and Mary Lee Mahan, both of Sellersburg; two sisters, Viola Toby of Floyds Knobs and Virginia Toby of Sellersburg; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation at Garr Funeral Home, Sellersburg, will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and noon to 9 p.m. Friday. Originally published in New Albany Tribune 28 Feb 1991.
