COURIER JOURNAL OBITUARY - 10/18/1957 William Henry Silliman, 89, died at 4:30 a.m. yesterday at his home, 1040 Eigelbach. He retired in 1937 as a foreman with William B. Pell & Sons Painters, 431 S. Third. Surviving are two sons, Edgar P. Silliman and Byron O. Silliman; three daughters, Mrs. Lula Moots, Mrs. Charles F. Czerwinski, and Mrs. George W. Stephan; a brother, Charles Silliman; a sister, Mrs. John Coombs; 28 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Lee E. Cralle Funeral Home, 1330 S. Third. Burial will be in Cave Hill Cemetery.
