Bill Hnat and I decided to merge her with Polly Hutcheson.This is based on the 1840 Knox Co.TN census, Bill found two James McClain's in Knox co., with one being 20-30 years old and we believe ours was the 2nd, him being 30-40 years old. Also his wife was in the proper age with the children accountable.Also she died between 1870-1880, she is in the 1870 census living with her son RIchard in Knox Co., TN. But she doesn't appear to be with any children in the 1880 census. Richard has moved to Illinois.
