NEW ALBANY TRIBUNE OBITUARY - 01/12/1994 - FLOYDS KNOBS Amelia Missi Dethy, 90, of 4196 E. Luther Road, died there Tuesday. She was a native of New Albany and a member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Charles Dethy; two sons, Cletus Dethy of Greenville and James Dethy of Borden; three daughters, Dorothy Allen of Georgetown, Rosalie Schenck of Bradford and Kay Hoehn of New Salisbury; two sisters, Elnora Yochum of Lanesville and Mary Thomas of New Albany; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation at Kraft Funeral Service in New Albany is 6-9 p.m. today and noon-9 p.m. Thursday. A prayer service will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
