A lifelong resident of Peninsula, she was truly devoted to her family and the welfare of all. In addition to her 34 years of service as clerk/treasurer of the Peninsula Library, she also participated in a number of community activities involving public service. A fine, gracious lady, she will be sadly missed by all. Preceded in death by father, Daniel "Dick" Billings, grandson, Matthew Morgan, and husband, George Morgan, she is survived by her mother, Flora Billings; brother, Richard (Doris); husband, Paul; daughter, Lorna (Mark) Kipphut of Montgomery, Ala.; sons, Russell (Elizabeth) of Peninsula, Keith (Nancy) of Northfield Center, and Craig Wright of Peninsula; grandchildren, Abbey, and Nathan Morgan, and Madeline Kipphut. Services will be held Sunday, March 3, 1996, at 2:30 p.m., at Johnson-Romito, a Golden Rule Funeral Home, 19 E. Main St., Hudson, with Brad Price officiating. Friends will be received Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has created the Memory of Carole Wright Fund to assist in the perpetuation of her most favorite endeavor, the Children of the Peninsula Library and Activities, 6105 Riverview Rd., P.O. Box 236, Peninsula, OH 44264. Those wishing to participate may do so at the library. Interment at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Peninsula.
