Paul was a Summit County Sheriff for 17 years and retired from Air Ride. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carole. He is survived by sons, Craig and Chris; daughter, Cathy; stepchildren, Russ and Keith Morgan and Lorna Kipput; grandchildren; faithful canine companion, Quinton; sister, Helen (Dallas) York; and nephews, Dana and Don Thompson.
