He is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Mary Ruth Yarnell; granddaughter, Jamia Long, and husband Jeremy; great-grandson, Jackson Long; son-in-law, Jimmy Jackson; and siblings, Jane Scates and Bobby Yarnell. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home, with service to immediately follow at Berry highland Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel.
