Denton Ray Norris Tuesday, September 20 2011 Funeral services for Mr. Denton Ray Norris, 54, of Hilham, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2011 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home, with Bro. Tom Chandler officiating. Burial will be in Holly Springs Cemetery. Mr. Norris died Thursday, September 15, at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was of the Church of Christ faith. Born January 23, 1957 in Overton County, he was the son of Charles Edwin Norris of Livingston and Ruby "Oleta" (Carter) Norris of Hilham. In addition to his parents, survivors include 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Jeffrey Norris and Billy Raymond and Christine Norris of Beaufort, SC; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Kathy and Eddie Shultz of Alexandria, IN and Jackie Diane Norris of Summerville, SC; aunts and uncles, Bill and Gloria Carter of California, Linda and Norman Morgan of Cookeville, Janice Carter of Algood, Nell Carter of Holly Springs Community, Carolyn Carter of Chesterfield, IN, Connie Wilson of Rickman, Keith and Betty Norris of Anderson, IN, Kelly and Jane Norris of Michigan, Sid Ford of Utah, Oletta Lynn Kuntz and Eddie Lopez; special great-nephews, Hunter Lopez, Carter Lopez, and several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Pallbearers were Bill Carter, Dave Stewart, Claudie Jackson, Bill Gish, Leroy Phillips, and Buddy Beaty.
