Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Oletta Norris, age 77, of Hilham will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, August 29, 2014 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Patrick Stewart officiating. Burial will be in the Holly Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. Mrs. Norris passed away August 26, 2014 at her home. She was born in Overton County, August 21, 1937 to the late Raymond Andrew & Ruby Willet Hughes Carter. She was a homemaker. She is survived by daughters, Kathy Schultz of Webster, FL and Jackie Norris of Charleston, SC; sons, Jeffery Norris of Livingston and Billy Norris of Beaufort, SC; grandaughter, Oletta Lynn Kuntz, her caregiver; sisters, Linda Morgan and Betty Cook, both of Sparta; brother, Billy Joe Carter of Hilham; 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, sons: Bobby Norris & Denton Norris; brothers: RD, Junior, Vanis, Sam & Jimmy Carter; sisters, Inez Ford & Murrel Dean Wasson.
