Our beloved wife, mother, and grandma, Inez Ruth Wakefield Ford, 67, left family and friends peacefully at her home on April 21, 2010. She was born April 26, 1942 in Allen, Tennessee to Raymond and Ruby Carter. Inez married John Edmond Wakefield on November 3, 1960. John passed away in 1992. In June of 2002, she married Sidney Ford in Salt Lake City, Utah. She worked for Granite School District as a cook for fourteen years. Inez loved going back to Tennessee to visit family. Her passion and favorite thing to do was gamble. She also liked good deals at Kmart. She was an avid race fan and always loved to help Sid at RMR. Everyone knew her as Grandma or Mom. She was loved by everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed! Survived by her husband, Sidney R. Ford; children; Jimmy Carter; Diana (Kurt) Fatschel; Donna (Robert) Hayes; Debbie (Marty) Dailey; David (Lynette) Wakefield; Denise Loveless; Randy Ford; Robyn Ford; Melody Madilla; Mark Ford; Rhonda (Paul) Ford; Jeneal Ford; Troy Ford; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Bill; Oletta; Linda. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; brothers, RD; Vanice; Junior; Sam; sister, Murrel. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 26, 2010 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street (100 East). Friends may call from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
