Death was caused from an illness of heart trouble. Mr. Uhl was eighty-three years of age. He was a life long resident of Morgan Township. He was a successful farmer and he took an active interest in public affairs. Funeral services were held last Saturday morning at nine o'clock at St. Michael's Catholic Church at Bradford, conducted by the Rev. John Rodutsky. Interment was in the church cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Catherine Uhl, a daughter, Mrs. Edward Jacobi, six sons, Clement, Joseph, Severius and William Uhl all of Bradford, Edward Uhl of Greenville, Herman Uhl of New Albany and a sister, Mrs. Matilda Kemper of Louisville.
