  • COURIER JOURNAL OBITUARY - 09/24/1979 - BRADFORD Clem Uhl, 82, Bradford, died at 1:15 p.m. Sunday at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon. He was a retired vice-president of Uhl Truck Sales in Palmyra, a veteran of World War I and a member of the Holy Name Society, the Oblate of St. Benedict and the American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Agatha Buechler Uhl; two sons, Charles Uhl of Terre Haute and Bernard Uhl of Palmyra; four daughters, Mrs. Sharon Newton and Mrs. Mary Libs, both of Floyds Knobs, Mrs. Lorine Martin of New Salisbury and Mrs. Mary Ann McElroy of Brooksville, Fla.; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra after 2 p.m. Monday.
