Hazel Elise Davis 79, of Indianapolis, passed away January 16, 2006. She was born June 22, 1926 in Red Boiling Springs, TN. She was a homemaker and a member of Garfield Heights Church of Christ. Mrs. Davis enjoyed gardening and was well known for her beautiful flowerbeds. Survivors include her husband, Ether Davis; her children, Steve Alton Davis, Glenda Kay (John) Bittorie, Sherri Leigh Pruitt, Candace Renee (Steve) Huxford; nine grandchildren, Shelley, Tara, Paul, Shannon, Amber, Ryan, Stephanie, Mallory and Ellie; six great- grandchildren, Jennifer, Jonathan, Brooke, Jacob, Jared and Alex; two brothers, Myrl (Zelma) and Cleston (Pauline) and six sisters, Lillian, Willodean, Ila Mae (Boyce), Creola (Eddie), Ann (James) and Helen (Gene) and Many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 18 at G.H. Herrmann Madison Ave. Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery.
