Funeral services for Mrs. Janie Lee Dixon, 61, of Cookeville, were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2005, from the chapel of Rickman-Hall Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Reeder and Bro. Robert Boles officiating. Burial was in Netherland Cemetery. Mrs. Dixon died Monday, May 23 at her home. Born December 13, 1943, in Putnam County, she was the daughter of the late John Bulter and Maggie (Bowman) Cobble. Survivors include her husband, Oral Dixon of Cookeville; a son and daughter-in-law, Brian and B.J. Dixon of Cookeville; a daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Phillip Reeder of Monroe; 5 brothers, Clyde Cobble of Algood and Gene Cobble, John Cobble, Jack Cobble, and Roy �Bud� Cobble, all of Cookeville; 4 sisters, Mary Fletcher of Algood and Jenny Breeding, Judy Hopsinpillar, and Juanita Fletcher, all of Cookeville; and 3 grandchildren, Gregory Dixon, Matthew Reeder, and Nathan Reeder. Pallbearers were Donnie Breeding, Doug Matthews, Dan Varbel, Dale Bryant, Bennie Dixon, and Mike Fletcher.
