Linda Ann Gesenhues, 58, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2014. She enjoyed reading and was an avid animal lover. Linda was born on September 8, 1956 to the late Odell and Anna Lee (Libs) Gesenhues. She is survived by her sister, Lisa Mefford (Charlie); niece, Casey Baker (Sam); great-nephews, Noah and Levi Baker; and good friends, Tammy Travillian, Denny Lynch, and Sheldon Sutton. A reception of family and friends will be from 5 to 7 PM on Monday, September 29, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN) with a Memorial Service being held at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Floyd County Animal Shelter (214 W. Market Street, New Albany, IN 47150).
