Linnie Mae (McClain) Hawkins Tuesday, August 23 2011, Published in the Overton County News Funeral services for Mrs. Linnie Mae (McClain) Hawkins, 99, of Livingston, were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, August 22, 2011 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home, with Mike Long officiating. Burial was in Maxwell Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Hawkins died Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Masters Health Care Center in Algood. She was a homemaker and member of Maxwell Chapel Church of God. Born December 4, 1911 in Clay County, she was the daughter of the late Loonie M. and Julie Ann (Dailey) McClain. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnest Truman Hawkins; a son, Bobby Herman Hawkins; 3 brothers, Leon McClain, Paul McClain, Milas McClain; and 2 sisters, Kate Stafford and Ozell Upton. Survivors include a sister, Lizzie Hewitt of Indianapolis, IN; 4 granddaughters, Sheila Long and her husband, Mike, of Cookeville, Lisa Bailey and her husband, James, of Murfreesboro; Kaye Wilt and her husband, Carl, of Spring Hill, TN, and Bobbie Jo Davis and her husband, Marshall, of Tompkinsville, KY; and 10 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Mike Long, Carl Wilt, James Bailey, Jr., Marshall Davis, Andrew Long, and Shawn Wilson.
