OZELL UPTON Funeral services for Mrs. Ozell Upton, 86, of Cookeville, were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008, from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Reagan and Bro. James Williams officiating. Burial was in McClain Cemetery in Clay County. Mrs. Upton died Tuesday, Feb. 19 at NHC Healthcare. She was a homemaker. Born June 19, 1921, in Clay County, she was the daughter of the late Lunia and Julie (Dailey) McClain. Survivors include a son, John Douglas Upton Jr. of Livingston; 4 daughters, Bonnie Masters of Rickman, Vivian Lafever of Cookeville, Mary Caffee of Somerset, KY, and Lisa Delaine of Alabama; 2 sisters, Linnie Hawkins of Algood and Lizzie Hewitt of Indiana; 10 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Champ McClain, Kelly Henson, Nicholas Caffee, Corey Hamm, John Padgett, and Chase Mathis. Special care provided by Hall Funeral Home in Livingston.
