Funeral services for Mrs. Marjorie Ann McClain, 64, were conducted from the Chapel of Hooper & Huddleston Funeral Home Thursday, April 27 with the Rev. C. E. Clay and Rev. Guy Farris officiating. Mrs. McClain, a resident of 380 S. Cedar St., died April 25 in the local hospital. She was a native of Jackson County, the daughter of the late Arliss and Emma Clark Rector, and widow of the late Marvin D. McClain. Survivors include 5 daughters, Mrs. Tommie Stout, Mrs. Barbara Bohannon, Mrs. Jean Bowman, Mrs. Wanda Powell all of Cookeville, Mrs. Patricia Watts, Kingston, TN, one son, Phillip Marvin McClain, Gainesbille, VA, two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Young, Cookeville, Mrs. Della Mea, Dayton, OH, five brothers, Larmon Rector, Cookeville, James Rector, Cookeville, Floyd Rector, Middletown, OH, Billy and Donald Rector, Dayton, OH, 8 grandchildren. Burial was in Cookeville City Cemetery.
