Funeral services for Ms. Nell Marie Fleming Sisson, age 83, of Livingston will be conducted 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Bobby Gore will officiate. Burial will be in the Holly Springs Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Tuesday from 5 until 8 p.m. Ms. Sisson passed from this life on Sunday evening, December 24, 2017 from Overton County Health & Rehab. She was born in Overton County on May 6, 1934 to the late Eula Fleming. She enjoyed cooking and gardening, watching "Hee Haw" on television, fixing JR's fence, horses, and having her loving family around her. She worked as a retail clerk for many years. She was a member of the Holly Springs Church of Christ. Nell is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Carter of Anchorage, Alaska; Carol Parr and husband Scott of Livingston, TN; and Helena Gish and Husband Bud of Anchorage, Alaska; brother, Edward JR. Fleming of Livingston, TN; grandchildren, Mandy Ford, Phillip Carter, Adrian Doremire, Brandi Dutton, Helena Dara, and Chelsey Nickerson; great-grandchildren, Bryce Chelini, Johnny Womack, Ryan Ford, Damien Harris, Elijah Doremire, Mallory Doremire, Bella Dutton, and Charli Dutton. In addition to her mother, Nell was preceded in death by the father of her children, R.D. Carter, sister, Lillian Brigode, and brothers, Thomas Fleming and David Fleming. Pallbearers to serve are Glen Ford, Robert Bagshaw, Scott Parr, Johnny Womack, Bryce Chelini, and Adrian Doremire.
