Phyllis Ann Hix Funeral services for Mrs. Phyllis Ann Hix, 52, of Livingston, were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Donald Cobb officiating. Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Hix died Saturday, Jan. 13 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. Born October 4, 1954, in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of Clyde and Maggie Julene (Carwile) Taylor of Hilham. Survivors, in addition to her parents, include her husband, Ricky Hix of Livingston; her grandmother, Velma Smith of Livingston; a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Derek McDonald of Livingston; a brother, Doug Taylor of Nashville; 2 sisters, Sharon Ayers and Barbara Taylor, both of Hilham; and a granddaughter, Peyton McDonald of Livingston. Pallbearers were Kevin Presley, Max Crabtree, Chris Ayers, Matthew Boynton, Andrew Boynton, and Mike Bowman. Special care provided by Hall Funeral Home in Livingston.
