CORYDON REPUBLICAN OBITUARY - 11/18/1920 Mrs. Ursula Gettelfinger, widow of the late Frederick Gettelfinger, died at the home of her son, Joseph Gettelfinger, near Ramsey, in Spencer Township, last Saturday from the effects of a stroke of paralysis sustained by her on Tuesday before. She was born in Washington, D. C., April 15, 1833, and had been a resident of Harrison County for more than fifty years. She had been in declining health for several years and had been bedfast since last June. Her surviving children are Joseph, Daniel, George, John and Frank Gettelfinger, Mrs. Caroline Bigler, Mrs. Margaret Jacobi and Mrs. Clara Bush, all of this county. She leaves sixty-two grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren. The funeral services were conducted last Monday at the Catholic church at Frenchtown by her grandson, Father Joseph Gettelfinger, at present pastor of the Catholic church at Paynesville, Ky., and Father Fellers, pastor of the Frenchtown church. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
